She is an avid golfer, a dedicated reader, enjoys bird watching, and taking time to rest and recharge. Amanda is also a proud pet parent to one dog named Sam and two senior citizen cats, Lucky and Tiger. Having graduated with an undergraduate degree in Animal Science with a concentration in the animal industry, Lakiya is currently pursuing a master's degree at NC A&T State University, proudly representing AGGIE PRIDE. Her aspirations in veterinary medicine remain unwavering, as she strives towards attending Veterinarian school to obtain her DVM degree and make a meaningful impact in the field.
