Amanda

Position: Practice Manager

Amanda is a true asset to our animal hospital and has been a dedicated member of our team for an impressive 21 years. Over the course of her career, she has demonstrated a strong work ethic and a passion for her job, starting as a kennel assistant and working her way up to become a receptionist. Her hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed and in September 2022, she was promoted to SECAH Practice Manager.

In her free time, Amanda is a well-rounded individual who enjoys spending quality time with her husband and engaging in a variety of leisure activities. She is an avid golfer, a dedicated reader, enjoys bird watching, and taking time to rest and recharge. Amanda is also a proud pet parent to one dog named Sam and two senior citizen cats, Lucky and Tiger. Her love and compassion for her pets is a testament to her caring nature and her commitment to providing the best care for all animals.

At our animal hospital, Amanda's experience, knowledge, and dedication to her job make her a valuable member of our team. We are grateful to have her on our team and are proud of her recent promotion to Practice Manager. We look forward to seeing her continue to grow and succeed in this role and know that she will be a valuable asset to the hospital for many years to come.


Marie

Position: Registered Veterinary Technician
Interests: Watching movies, sewing/crafts, reading, taking care of animals and going to the beach/lake

Marie is a highly experienced and skilled member of our team, having worked with us for an impressive 21 years as a registered veterinary technician. Her expertise and commitment to providing the best possible care to animals have made her an invaluable asset to our team.

Aside from her work, Marie is a loving parent to two children, and enjoys spending time with them at baseball games, cheer practice, and dance lessons. She is also a proud pet parent to two dogs, Xena and Bruno, and values the joy that animals bring to her life. With her compassionate nature and passion for her work, Marie continues to be a valuable and dedicated member of our team.


Dylan

Position: Lead Veterinary Assistant

Dylan has been a dedicated member of our team at the animal hospital since 2013. In her role as lead assistant, Dylan has shown a strong passion for animal care and a drive to succeed, making her an important part of our team.

In her personal life, Dylan is a proud pet parent to three pitbulls - Chaos, Terd, and Kya - and one cat, Diva. She is an animal lover at heart and cherishes the time she gets to spend with her furry friends. When she is not working, Dylan enjoys spending time with her husband, participating in outdoor adventures such as kayaking and hiking, watching Netflix and relaxing with her pets, listening to music, and exploring trails.

With her commitment to animal care and her love of nature and her pets, Dylan is a valuable asset to our team. We are grateful to have her on our team and look forward to many more years of working together.


Kacie

Position: Receptionist

Kacie has been a part of our team for the past year, where she serves as a receptionist. In this role, she has demonstrated her strong work ethic and commitment to providing excellent customer service.

In her personal life, Kacie is a loving pet parent to one dog, Sasha, whom she treasures dearly. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her beloved furry friend and her chickens. Kacie is also devoted to her husband and values the time she gets to spend with him.

With her friendly personality and dedication to her work, Kacie has quickly become a beloved member of our team. Her positive attitude and passion for animal care make her an asset to the animal hospital, and we are grateful to have her on our team.


Dianna

Position: Receptionist

Dianna has been a dedicated member of our team at SECAH for over a decade, bringing with her a wealth of experience as a receptionist. She is known for her friendly and approachable demeanor, making her a favorite among our clients and their pets. Her strong communication skills and attention to detail ensure that all patients receive the highest level of care.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dianna also has a passion for travel and the great outdoors. She enjoys hiking and exploring new places, and she takes pride in her two bachelor's degrees from UNCG, as she should. Her love for adventure and her strong academic background make her a well-rounded individual and a valuable member of our team.

At home, Dianna is a proud pet parent to a cat named Abby. Her love for her feline friend is just one example of the compassion and care she brings to everything she does. We are grateful to have Dianna on our team and know that she will continue to make a positive impact in our animal hospital and beyond.


Kaylee

Position: Receptionist

Kaylee is a valued member of the SECAH team as a receptionist. With 2 years of experience at SECAH, she has proven to be an asset to the team with her strong work ethic and friendly demeanor. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her beloved dog Bear, as well as her little boy who is the center of her world. Kaylee enjoys hanging out with her friends and family in her free time. Her positive attitude and commitment to her work make her an important member of the SECAH team.


Jessica

Position: Veterinary Assistant

Jessica has been a part of our team at the animal hospital for just a short time, but she has already made a great impression and has proven to be a good fit. Her strong work ethic and passion for animal care make her an asset to our team.

In her personal life, Jessica is a proud pet parent to two pets, Bo and Tito. Her love for animals extends beyond her own pets, as she volunteers for wildlife rehabilitation and has a passion for fish keeping and bird watching. With her biology degree currently in progress and plans to attend veterinary school, it is clear that Jessica has a strong commitment to animal care and a desire to make a difference in the lives of animals.

We are thrilled to have Jessica on our team and look forward to her continued growth and success at our animal hospital. With her passion for animals and commitment to education, she is a great addition to the SECAH family.


Maria

Position: Veterinary Assistant

Maria is a valued member of our team at the animal hospital, where she has served as a Veterinary Assistant for almost 3 years. Her passion for animals and her compassionate nature have made her an exceptional caregiver to the patients in our care.

Outside of work, Maria is busy preparing for one of the most exciting milestones of her life - her upcoming wedding. She is full of joy and anticipation for this next chapter in her life. In her free time, Maria enjoys spending time with her fiancé and being a part of her church community.

We are grateful to have Maria as a part of our family at the animal hospital and look forward to her continued contributions in the years to come.


Jordan

Position: Veterinary Assistant

Jordan has been a part of our team for a little under a year and has quickly become a valuable member of our team. She is currently pursuing her dream of becoming a registered veterinary technician and is dedicated to her education and professional development.

Being local to the area, Jordan has a strong connection to the community and a passion for animal care. She is a proud pet parent to one cat, Phoebe, and one dog, Sadie, and loves spending time with her furry friends. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family and cherishing her personal relationships.

Jordan's dedication to her education and her passion for animal care make her an excellent addition to our team. We are excited to see her grow and develop as she continues on her journey to becoming a registered veterinary technician.


Lakiya

Position: Veterinary Assistant

Lakiya has been an integral part of our team for over six months now, joining us in July 2023. Her dedication and enthusiasm continue to shine as she brings her strong educational background and passion for animal science to her work every day.

Having graduated with an undergraduate degree in Animal Science with a concentration in the animal industry, Lakiya is currently pursuing a master's degree at NC A&T State University, proudly representing AGGIE PRIDE. Her aspirations in veterinary medicine remain unwavering, as she strives towards attending Veterinarian school to obtain her DVM degree and make a meaningful impact in the field.

Beyond her professional ambitions, Lakiya finds joy in various activities. Whether it's hitting the gym, spending quality time with her friends and loved ones, indulging in some retail therapy, or exploring new destinations, she embraces life with enthusiasm. Lakiya's love for animals extends to her cherished fur companions, including her cat named Milo and her fur son, Bentley.

Lakiya's dedication, coupled with her vibrant personality and love for animals, make her an invaluable member of our team. We look forward to continuing to support her growth and witnessing her future successes in both her career and personal endeavors.


Kimmie

Position: Technician Assistant

Kimmie has been an integral part of our team at the animal hospital for the past 15 years, serving as a technician assistant. Her experience and expertise have made her an invaluable asset to our team, and she has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to providing the best possible care for our patients.

In addition to her work at the animal hospital, Kimmie is also a proud grandparent to two new grandbabies. She has a deep love for her family and is always excited to share updates about their lives.

At home, Kimmie is the proud pet parent to one dog named Mocha and one cat named Zoey. She enjoys spending time with her pets and keeping them happy and healthy. In her free time, she likes to stay active by working out and gardening, and she also has a love for music.

We are grateful to have Kimmie on our team and appreciate her hard work and dedication. She is a true asset to the SECAH animal hospital and a valuable member of our team.


Cindy

Position: Housekeeping Supervisor
Interests: Spending time with friends, family and my animals

Cindy has been a valued member of our team at the animal hospital for an impressive 20 years now, since 2003. Her years of experience and knowledge make her an invaluable asset to our team.
In her personal life, Cindy is a proud pet parent to four cats - Koko, Pixie, Peachy Paws, and Nicholas. She has a strong love for all animals and enjoys taking care of God's creation. When she is not working, Cindy enjoys spending her time reading, pet sitting, teaching at the Greensboro Science Center, and attending church services.

Cindy's passion for animal care, love for reading and education, and dedication to her faith make her a well-rounded and valued member of our team. We are grateful to have her on our team and are proud to have her as part of the SECAH family.


Michael

Position: Kennel Assistant
Interests: ​Martial Arts, Hiking, Caring for Animals.

Michael is a dedicated and hardworking employee who has been a valuable member of our animal hospital team for over 8 years. He serves as a kennel assistant and is responsible for the care and well-being of the animals in our hospital. In his free time, Michael enjoys spending quality time with his wife and taking part in his favorite activity of karate.

Michael is a proud pet parent to a dog named Elle and takes his responsibilities as a pet owner very seriously. His love and care for his own pet is evident in his dedication to providing the best care for the animals in our hospital. Michael's strong work ethic and commitment to his job make him a valuable member of our team, and we are grateful for his contributions to the hospital.
