Pet Dentals

Good dental hygiene is an essential part of keeping your pet healthy. We have the necessary facilities here to perform not only routine dentals but also complicated extractions when necessary.

Our veterinarians recommend that your animal(s) have their teeth cleaned once a year, especially as they get older. We do offer a dental wellness program to our established clients. If you are interested in learning more, contact our office via email or phone. We also offer a dental discount if you have a dental done within 30 days of an exam.

Dental Polishing and Extraction Discharge Instructions

  • Your pet may be in pain for a few days due to the procedure. Use pain medication as directed but if the pain is excessive you should contact our office.
  • Feed your pet soft food for 2 weeks.
  • There may be sutures in the gums. They do not need to be removed. They will dissolve on their own.
  • Monitor for any pain, facial swelling or discharge.
  • Give the medication(s) as directed on the label. Antibiotics are important when we work with an animals teeth. Please give all antibiotics as directed until they are completely gone. If a pain medication was prescribed, it should be used as needed according to the label.
  • Your pet should have a recheck exam in 14 days. Please schedule an appointment.
  • Do not brush your pet’s teeth for 2 weeks.
